Topics in Chemistry

The Topics in Chemistry series provides background chemical information on everyday topics, such as acid rain, photography, and ozone. Each booklet is designed so that teachers can easily incorporate the topic into their curricula, but it is also suitable for student use. The authors of the publications balance the chemical and socioeconomic aspects of the pertinent topic, in order to bring a greater level of understanding to how chemistry actually affects human life. In an effort to enhance learning via visual aids, tranparency masters of all illustrations and diagrams are available at the end of each publication. As a purchaser, you have permission to make copies for classroom use.
